It was founded by Reid Hoffman, Allen Blue, Konstantin Guericke, Eric Ly and Jean-Luc Vaillant with the vision to “create economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce”. It is headquartered in San Francisco, California.
The story of Linkedin began in the living room of Reiff Hoffman, where LinkedIn was founded and was launched in 2003.

2003- LinkedIn was officially launched.
