  1. Tell us a bit about yourself and your business.

Myself Mahii Singh Rajput. I’m a Producer and an actor. I am the Founder of IM MEDIA Productions. I’ve been a very self-motivated person since childhood & would always try to do something new.
It was at the age of 4 when I faced my first audience; I performed at the school annual function. I started my modeling career as Miss Delhi India 2018. After that, I attained a Diploma in Acting from Indian Television Academy (ITA), Mumbai. Alongside, I worked as an Operator Engineer at Gabriel India Limited in Tamil Nadu, following which I worked as the Business Development Manager at Infyco Financial, located in Delhi. I then planned to set up my own business in the Insurance sector.
My first Onscreen project “AADAT” was released last year on July 6. My second project “Mehfooz hai”, produced by me, is planned to be released in January 2022.

  1. What is the role of your family in your achievements?

My family has always been immensely supportive. Since childhood, they have stood by my side in every decision.
My father owns a school and is a teacher himself. He also runs an NGO for social work. My parents have struggled hard to give their children a bright future and I’m more than proud to have them as my parents. They, in turn, are proud of me and the work I do. They’ve always been the major driving force in my career and gave me the wings to fly.

  1. What is your ultimate aim in this profession? How have you created a new path in your profession?

My ultimate aim is to make myself a complete package for the entertainment industry. I want to live different lives through the various characters that I can play on screen. I wish to become a motivating figure, one that speaks ‘nothing is impossible’.
I, indeed, have created a new path in my profession. I started my own production company – IM Media. Through IM Media, I can provide opportunities to newcomers in the industry. I want to give them a better chance at proving themselves through my Productions. Entertainment is a creative industry and I created a platform where creative people can express their creativity.

  1. What was that one thing that had first persuaded you to enter into this field of industry?

I got the opportunity to perform on stage at the school annual function when I was only 4. Standing in front of a large audience that applauded me for my performance gave me an extraordinary feeling. At that moment, I felt that I was exceptional and very different from others. Since then, a thought has struck my mind that if I do something different, I can always remain special for everyone. Hence, I started performing on stage frequently and fell in love with the stage, audience and camera. I love the way the audience appreciates my work and that’s what motivates me to do even better.

  1. With such solid competition in this industry, what is it that makes the services you offer exceptional?

This industry is immensely creative and horrifically competitive. But every artist has their way of working and so do I. I add my flavor to the work and bring out the creativity in what I do.
I try to do different characters in songs. It is also our (IM Media) motive to present the audience with different stories and create our trends. I try to create different ideas and take various initiatives in the field of entertainment.

  1. Your achievements in this industry are more than impressive. Would you like to share them with us today?

My first album “AADAT” was released last year in July on Zee Music. AADAT will always hold a special place in my heart as it’s my first onscreen project. In the music video, I play the character of a blind girl who suffers from cancer but wishes to achieve her dream of becoming a singer. It was an excellent experience.
I was awarded the “Rajiv Gandhi Excellence Award” as the Youth Icon Actress 2021.
My second album “Mehfooz Hai” is set to release this month on January 24 on Warner Music India. In this project, I had the honour to work alongside Terence Lewis and singer Ankit Tiwari. My first interview “MeriPehchan” was published on Workmob. My first movie as a feature cast, “Ardh”, will be releasing in February 2022.

  1. Does your work ever feel tedious to you? If so, how do you stay driven and motivated towards it?

No, I never feel tedious about my work for what I do is my passion. Being an actor has been my biggest dream since childhood and now that I’m inching closer to achieving it, there is no question about feeling unexcited to my work.
Sometimes, however, I find certain tasks difficult to understand but in those moments too, I try to talk myself out of the problem. I believe that no one in this world understands you better than yourself. So I talk to myself and try to find the solutions to any problems that come my way. There are obstacles in every profession; I consider them a boon as they are part of my journey that makes me strong to overcome any difficulty.

  1. What are your hobbies and specific interests other than your profession?

Besides my profession, I love to write. I love inking my thoughts and soon I’ll be publishing my first work “Confidently Confused”.
I also sing and my third project will present a song in my voice. Further, I have done a Contemporary Dance Course from T-Series. I love to explore new places and participate in adventurous and thrilling sports like sky diving, bungee jumping, parasailing, scuba diving, flying fox, river rafting, trekking and many more. Additionally, I try to participate actively in debates. At last, I’d say, I spend a fair share of time loving myself.

  1. You have achieved so much in such a little time. Is there any specific advice you’d like to share with the new people entering this industry?

I want to tell all the newbies in the industry that YOUR DREAM IS YOUR STRENGTH. Stop thinking of what others are doing, stay focussed on your work and fulfil your dreams with confidence, dedication and hope. Whatever the situation may be, don’t lose hope. Believe in yourself and constantly remind yourself that everything is possible. Explore your passion, work on your weaknesses, compete with yourself and defeat yourself every day. Enjoy the fulfil towards success. Always remember to appreciate yourself, only then will everybody appreciate you. Don’t blame your destiny if you see no opportunity, try to dig opportunities for yourself. Everything lies within you; find yourself, respect your thoughts and show the world who you are.
