Could you tell us about yourself and your work?
Prateek Sachdeva is a Punjabi boy fortunate enough to be born and cultured in Rajasthan.
Until 2018 I was a part of the family business, and then my passion for food toppled with my business acumen, leading to the inception of Erica Ventures, which is the parent company and very close to my heart as it’s named after my daughter, Erica.
Erica Ventures ignited with an acquisition of a Dubai based Fast food chain, DONER&GYROS- authentic Lebanese and Mediterranean cuisine, India rights, in partnership with Rannvijay Singha, a youth icon and an elder brother for me, and Heena Sachdeva co- owner at Erica Ventures and my partner for life.

As I always believe alone you go fast but together you go far, we have an eminent group of directors and partners, Dev Dhingra and Nikhil Mukhi who are very actively involved with me in the business, both strategically and executing from the start.

In the last five years with god’s grace, our portfolio has gotten bigger and variant with the addition of homegrown brands, Hudson Chopsticks, A pan Asian cuisine, Begum jaan- an authentic Mughlai, Awadh food, 9 Liquor land- the largest Chain of women-friendly Premium liquor stores in UP, and so n so forth.

How you and your service is helping society?
Being a fitness enthusiast, I always wanted to contribute to society in some or the other way, opening health clubs was the traditional way of thinking so I thought a little out of the box. On one of my visits to Dubai, and there n then I thought of bringing Doner&Gyros to India, which not only is scrumptious for the Indian palate but is a healthier option of affordable food with the best quality ingredients. Our 80% menu is apt for the health-conscious genre.
Secondly, we operate on a Franchise model for all our brands which gives elbow room to a lot of people who are interested to park in their money in lucrative business formats.

What is the USP of your work?
I partially answered this in the previous question and would reiterate that contributing to health and hygiene is the USP as that is the core fundamental embibed in our practices, and none the less the versatility of the different cuisines in the portfolio which gives both our customers and Franchisees enough options to choose from .. 😊

What are your Vision and Mission?
I believe in few decisions be in the spur of the moment, few works few fail but you always learn and evolve.
My vision is to bring the best of the cuisines from around the world to my country and my mission is to further down expand them to every city, specially tier 2- tier 3, where there is a dearth, and I want to bridge that gap.

What are your achievements in this industry?
There is a long way to run for me, and like every human a little pat on the back or some acknowledgment definitely keeps you going.
We are at 100+ stores across all the brands, which is just the first milestone, but this in turn lead to employment for a lot of people and provided businesses for our Franchise partners.
My parents and family are definitely pompous with pride and that keeps me elevated and charged up.

What are your hobbies and specific interests other than your profession?
One of my hobbies turned to passion has transited me to my business, which is definitely my unmatched love for fitness.
Apart from that I have a fetish for Cars, hopefully, I will someday transform my love for wheels into another business, so that I can live my passion day in and day out.
I love to spend time with my kids as that energy and love are unconditional and indispensable, keeping me on and on.

You have achieved so much in life, any specific advice you’d like to share with our readers to grow in life?
Though everybody has their own journey and their outlook toward success, I would like to sum it up in one line for myself.

Keep working hard, drive your passion, Money and success just become a derivative.
