Could you tell us about yourself and your work?
As my name Pratiti says “kisi khwaish ki pratiti hui”(special feelings for your dream) that’s how my relationship with Art began, like a dream which started with a scribble, to painting a masterstroke today. Started as an amateur Artist, Graduated in Psychology from Symbiosis College later I pursued a diploma in fine Arts at Pune . The Hunger for learning never stopped, that’s how I came across Madhubani Mithila painting in 2017 through a workshop in Pune. Where Artists from Bihar conducted a workshop on traditional Madhubani Mithila & its influence in India. That day I went home as a different person. An Artist who began traveling to different states learning traditional heritage folk Art forms from 5th to 7th Generation Artists of our Country. These Artists are not only talented but also National & Padmashree awardee Artists of India.
