Could you tell us about yourself and your work?
I am an ex-banker, passionate about hand crafting crystal jewellery and painting. In the past 15 years, I have been busy climbing the corporate ladder. I was a VP in investment banking with a top international bank when I felt a strong need to fulfill my life’s purpose in the area of healing. This arena has held a substantial fascination for me since my youth. I became a Reiki healer when I was 18 years old. I had questions about life and its purpose, which led me to continue my study of different alternative healing and psychotherapeutic modalities such as Hypnotherapy, Reiki, Akashic Records, Bach Flower Remedies, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming.
The search for answers continued, and one day I found a book called “Many Lives, Many Masters” by Dr. Brian Weiss. The captivating story of the healing of a chronic case of anxiety disorder via past life regressions intrigued me and led me to study the healing modality of clinical hypnotherapy, which was instrumental in giving me the turning point in my life.
The journey in this arena has continued with the specialization in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Past Life Regression, Energy Rebalancing, Life Between Lives Hypnotherapy and Inner Child Work.
I have continued to augment my healing acumen with Akashic Records Healing and Bach Flower Therapy. I have recently completed a Master’s in Clinical Psychology.
How you and your service is helping society?
I believe that holistic healing is the need of the hour today and every day. Given the traumatic times we have all faced in and since the pandemic, working toward a healthy mind, body, and spirit has become crucial. During this time, a lot of repressed emotions have surfaced. People are starting to understand that a healthy mind is essential for a healthy body. Hence, the services I offer serve the need of the moment—specifically in the mental health space.
What is the USP of your work?
The services I offer are a unique mix of metaphysical and energy healing coupled with the scientific enquiry of psychology. This eclectic mixture ensures that my clients receive healings that resolve issues at a mental, emotional, and spiritual level.
What are your vision and mission?
My mission is to facilitate people’s journeys towards holistically empowered lives aligned with their soul’s purpose.
My vision is to heal and awaken the divinity within.
What are your achievements in this industry?
I have been certified in Reiki Healing Practice for 28 years and have experienced different modalities such as hypnotherapy, neuro-linguistic programming, and Akashic Records.
Does your work ever feel tedious to you? If so, how do you stay driven and motivated towards it?
My work is self-fulfilling as I am living my life purpose. When I do get tired, I paint and dance – these are my sources of energy that bring me back to the now energized.
What are your hobbies and specific interests other than your profession?
Under my brand, Samairah’s Blessings, I design and handcraft crystal jewellery using pure crystals and silver. I create one-of-a-kind, distinctive creations that blend healing ability with aesthetics, increasing the wearability factor of these pieces.
I produce artisanal organic cosmetics with natural ingredients. This interest grew a few years back as I began my foray into natural cosmetics that do not harm skin and hair. Hence, I trained myself in essential oils and other natural ingredients, such as vegan waxes and oils, which can produce viable products to be used gently on various skin and hair types. I have a steady clientele who appreciate customized, artisanal products.
I am also an avid painter, and I enjoy dancing.
You have achieved so much in life. Any specific advice you’d like to share with our readers to grow in life?
To believe in your dreams – to understand that to achieve success, one must have unquestionable self-belief and faith in the universe – it’s called pronoia – the belief that everything will work out in your favour – once you have that, you can continue walking towards the light.
