Amul is an Indian dairy cooperative society, based mostly at Anand in the state of Gujarat, India. It was absolutely shaped in 1946 by Tribhuvandas Patel under the steerage of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and managed by a cooperative body, the Gujarat Co-operative Milk promoting Federation Ltd. Everyone is conscious of the Butter lady of Amul, round-eyed, buxom cheeked, winking at you, from strategically placed hoardings at several traffic lights. She is that the Amul moppet everybody likes to love. The Utterly Butterly lady has managed to keep her fan following intact.

The Kaira District Co-operative Milk Producers’ Union restricted, Anand, Gujarat, popularly referred to as “Amul farm” is a Dairy Cooperative with a turnover of over ₹ 5700/- large integer.

Revenue within the year 2020: 38,550 crores (US$5.4 billion)

The current variety of workers within the year 2020 is 3.6 million (Milk manufacturing members) and 1000 (Marketing Arm).
