Could you tell us about yourself and your work?
My name is Jitha Nair, and I come from Ahmedabad, though I was born in Kerala. I have completed my master’s in commerce and AI at Microsoft, and I bring 17 years of experience in administration to my current role. I work as an executive assistant to the director, providing comprehensive administrative support to the management. In addition to my administrative duties. Outside of my primary job, I dedicate my time to serving at an old-age home during weekdays, serving food, and spending time with the residents. I am passionate about creating a positive work environment, where teammates are cooperative and understanding, and where communication is soft and warm, especially in client servicing.

How you and your service is helping society?
My work and service contribute to society in several meaningful ways. As an executive assistant, I support the management team, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently, which helps the organization to function effectively and serve its clients better.
Additionally, my volunteer work at an old-age home is a significant part of how I give back to the community. By serving food and spending time with the residents, I provide companionship and support to elderly individuals who may otherwise feel lonely or neglected. This not only enhances their quality of life but also fosters a sense of community and care.
Through both my professional and volunteer efforts, I strive to make a positive difference in the lives of those I serve, whether it be through efficient administrative support or offering companionship to those in need.

This ensures that the management team can focus on strategic goals while I seamlessly handle the day-to-day administrative tasks. My approach to communication, which emphasizes a soft and warm tone, ensures that internal and external interactions are always pleasant and effective.
Diverse Skill Set: My background in commerce and AI, combined with my role as an Executive Assistant to the Director, allows me to bring a unique blend of analytical, creative, and strategic thinking to my work. This versatility enables me to contribute to various aspects of the organization, from operational efficiency to innovative project development. What are your achievements in this industry?
My achievements in implementing OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) have been instrumental in driving performance, alignment, and clarity within the organizations I’ve been part of. Here are some key accomplishments:
Enhanced Strategic Alignment: By implementing OKRs, I have successfully aligned the team’s goals with the broader organizational objectives. This alignment has ensured that every team member understands how their work contributes to the overall mission, leading to increased motivation and a sense of purpose.
Improved Focus and Clarity: OKRs have helped in establishing clear and measurable objectives, allowing the team to focus on what truly matters. This clarity has resulted in more efficient resource allocation and prioritization of tasks, significantly boosting productivity.
Regular Performance Tracking: Through the regular tracking and review of OKRs, I have ensured continuous monitoring of progress toward goals. Does your work ever feel tedious to you? If so, how do you stay driven and motivated towards it?
While some aspects of any job can occasionally feel tedious, I find that my work remains engaging and fulfilling due to the variety of tasks and the meaningful impact I can make. By focusing on the meaningful aspects of my work, seeking continuous growth, and maintaining a balanced and positive approach, I can stay driven and motivated even when faced with routine or challenging tasks.

What are your hobbies and specific interests other than your profession?
Outside of my professional life, I have several hobbies and interests that I am passionate about Traveling and reading. I am passionate about maintaining a healthy lifestyle. This includes regular exercise, yoga, and mindfulness practices, which help me stay balanced and energized.
