Interview by The Success Today
Could you tell us about yourself and your work?
I am Shraddha, a Henna tutor for the past 5 years in the Henna industry. My journey in Henna art has been driven by the belief that consistency and dedication can elevate your skills to the next level.
How you and your service is helping society?
My easy-to-follow tips and tricks have empowered many students, including housewives, to master Henna art and generate a substantial side income.
What is the USP of your work?
I always strive to give my best in every assignment I go through. I never compromise in henna design just to wind up a particular assignment at a speed. Clients love this nature, which I feel is the USP of my work. I believe in providing excellent customer service so my clients are happy and satisfied.
What are your Vision and Mission?
There are a lot of myths related to Henna. Though henna has great significance in Indian culture, henna is still looked at as inferior, whether it is related to bargaining Heena prices on occasion or whether it is chosen as a career option.
My vision and mission is to take Heena at one level up and change the mindset of people who neglect Henna in every aspect.
What are your achievements in this industry?
I have trained 2,000 + students worldwide via online as well as offline classes. I am happy to share that my classes have helped females especially housewives to come out of a stereotype thinking. It has boosted their confidence and made them realize that nothing is impossible. Recently, I have been awarded as a Best Mehndi Artist Of The Year 2024.
Does your work ever feel tedious to you? If so, how do you stay driven and motivated towards it?
Sometimes yes, and I think it’s natural. In such situations, I relax, go and watch interviews of Henna artists, learn about their struggles and how they overcame them, and their working styles, and that is what motivates me a lot and helps me to restart.
What are your hobbies and specific interests other than your profession?
I love to listen to soft music which heals me a lot on stressful wedding season days. I love to play badminton and paint. Apart from this, I like to explore different destinations and know the cultures of every region, hence I travel often for leisure.
You have achieved so much in life, any specific advice you’d like to share with our readers to grow in life?
Be consistent and keep a positive approach towards life. Your competition is with yourself and not with others. Love your work and be passionate towards your goals!!
