Interview by The Success Today

Could you tell us about yourself and your work ?
Hi!
I’m Nitika Sinha, a dedicated Talent Acquisition Leader
with a passion for innovation in recruitment. With over 13 years of experience, I specialize in end-to-end recruitment across IT, automotive, and manufacturing industries. My journey began with an unexpected transition from hotel management to recruitment, where I quickly discovered my passion for aligning talent with business goals.
Currently, as Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition at Infogain, I lead a team focused on creating cutting-edge, inclusive recruitment strategies that drive business success. I’m particularly excited about integrating AI and data analytics into recruitment processes, improving both efficiency and the candidate experience. My approach is centered around finding not just a good fit for the role, but someone who will contribute to the company’s long-term growth.
Alongside my work, I am passionate about mentorship and knowledge sharing. Through my LinkedIn posts and my YouTube channel,@talenttalkswithnitika, I offer career guidance and insights on job search strategies and hiring trends. As a mother, I also find immense joy in balancing my career with family, drawing inspiration from my son, Ayaansh, who is my greatest motivator.

How you and your service is helping society ?
With over 13 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, I take great pride in helping people build meaningful careers and supporting businesses in hiring the right talent. Specializing in IT and technical roles, I ensure companies hire efficiently while fostering a culture of growth, inclusivity, and innovation.
As a POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) Presiding Officer, I am committed to creating safe, respectful, and harassment-free workplaces. I believe that a positive workplace culture is essential to employee well-being, and I work tirelessly to shape ethical and empowering spaces where everyone can thrive.
Beyond recruitment, I actively share insights on LinkedIn regarding job search strategies, hiring trends, and career development tips, helping professionals make informed decisions and navigate the ever-evolving job market.
One of the most important roles I hold is that of a mother. Balancing work and motherhood is a challenge, but I believe it’s possible with the right mindset and support. By openly sharing my experiences of juggling both responsibilities, I hope to inspire working moms to pursue their careers without guilt. We can be both ambitious and great parents, and I’m passionate about empowering women to embrace both roles with confidence and pride.

What is USP of your work?
Recruitment with strategy, heart, and impact—hiring beyond job descriptions, shaping workplaces beyond policies, and mentoring professionals beyond resumes. Empathy and inclusivity drive everything I do.

What are your vision and mission?
Vision a future where careers are built on skills, workplaces are built on respect, and hiring is built on strategy, not just urgency.

Mission to empower professionals, support working mothers, and transform workplaces through empathetic hiring, mentorship, and advocacy for inclusivity.

What are your achievements ?
I’ve had the honor of receiving multiple Best Team Player awards and several performance-based recognitions in my career, particularly for hiring high-quality talent in record time. At Entercoms, I achieved remarkable results by hiring top candidates within just 2 months, and at RSLabs, I played a key role in hiring over 100 skilled professionals in just 2.8 years—a significant jump for a company that had previously hired fewer than 25 employees in almost a decade. In addition, I have completed various certifications, including in Negotiation Skills, Talent Management, and Generative AI Fundamentals, which have enriched my skillset in leading cutting-edge recruitment initiatives.
On the personal front, my greatest achievements are fulfilling the promise I made in my childhood to buy my father a car and buying my own home—two goals that I worked relentlessly to accomplish. These experiences continually inspire me to believe that no matter the challenge, with dedication, anything is possible.

Does your work even feel tedious to you ? If so, how do you stay driven and motivated ?
Like any profession, talent acquisition comes with challenges—tight deadlines, changing market trends, and the constant pursuit of top talent. While the process can be demanding, it has never felt tedious to me because I see the bigger picture—every hire is a career transformed and a business strengthened.
What keeps me motivated is the impact I create. Knowing that I help individuals find the right opportunities while enabling businesses to build high-performing teams gives me immense satisfaction.

I stay driven by-
✅ Continuous learning – Staying ahead of recruitment trends, AI in hiring, and evolving workforce needs.
✅ Helping job seekers – Sharing career advice, hiring insights, and job search strategies on LinkedIn.
✅ Balancing work and motherhood – I share my journey as a working mom, inspiring others to pursue careers confidently.
✅ Fostering a positive workplace culture – As a POSH Presiding Officer, I ensure workplaces are safe, inclusive, and empowering.
For me, recruitment isn’t just about filling roles—it’s about creating meaningful career paths, shaping businesses, and fostering workplaces where people thrive. That’s what keeps me motivated every day.

What are your hobbies and specific interest other than your profession?
Outside of my professional work, I am passionate about a few creative outlets that keep me grounded. Music, especially spiritual and motivational songs, plays a big role in my daily life, helping me stay positive and focused. Photography allows me to capture and preserve memories, and I often imagine reliving them through a slideshow in the future.
Sketching and painting are two other passions that I hold dear. They provide me with a way to express my creativity and relax. I also enjoy writing—whether it’s blogs, articles, or shayaris. Sharing my ideas on social media is a way for me to connect with others and inspire those around me.
Recently, I started a YouTube and Instagram channel, @talenttalkswithnitika, where I offer advice on job searches, career development, and recruitment trends. The success of my first video on creating an ATS-friendly resume, which received over 20 lakh views, fueled my passion for creating even more impactful content for professionals.

You have achieved so much in life, any specific advice you would like to share with our readers to grow in life?
In life, one of the most important lessons I’ve learned is the power of perseverance. We all face ups and downs, and while the journey may not always be smooth, the key is to keep going. I owe much of my outlook to my parents, who taught me to do good, be good, and always strive to be the best at whatever I do.
Honesty and integrity are at the core of my approach—being truthful to your work and your values is essential. But beyond that, it’s your hard work and persistence that will ultimately lead you to where you want to be. Success doesn’t come overnight, but with consistent effort and dedication, you can achieve greatness.
My advice is Never stop learning, keep pushing through challenges, and always believe that your hard work will pay off. Keep your eyes on the goal, and remember that the path may be tough, but every step forward counts. Stay true to yourself, and success will follow.
