Could you tell us about yourself and your work?
I am Disha Chavan, a Nutritionist Specialist and Therapeutic Counselor from Pune. I work with people dealing with lifestyle and health-related issues such as weight management, diabetes, PCOS, thyroid imbalance, stress, and emotional wellness. Along with nutrition guidance, I also focus on therapeutic counseling, yoga, breathing practices, and lifestyle correction because I believe health is a combination of physical and mental well-being.
Through Healthfusion Multispeciality Clinic and my wellness work, my aim is to help people adopt practical and sustainable habits instead of quick fixes. I try to keep my approach simple, realistic, and easy to follow according to each person’s lifestyle.
For me, this profession is not just about giving diet plans. It is about understanding people, motivating them, and helping them feel healthier and more confident in their daily lives.

How you and your service is helping society?
Today many people are struggling with stress, unhealthy eating habits, obesity, diabetes, hormonal imbalance, and emotional exhaustion. Through my work, I try to create awareness about preventive healthcare and healthy living.
I guide people with personalized nutrition plans, therapeutic counseling, yoga, and lifestyle changes that are practical and sustainable. Many people lose confidence because of health problems, so emotional support and motivation are also an important part of my work.
I especially encourage women to take care of their physical and mental health while balancing family and career responsibilities. My goal is to help people improve their overall quality of life and understand that small daily habits can create long-term health transformation.

What is the USP of your work?
The biggest USP of my work is the personalized and holistic approach I follow. I do not believe in giving the same solution to everyone because every individual has different health conditions, routines, and emotional challenges.
I combine nutrition guidance, therapeutic counseling, yoga, breathing techniques, and lifestyle management to create long-term and realistic wellness plans. My focus is not only on weight loss or temporary results but on improving overall health and emotional well-being.
I also try to keep my guidance simple and practical so people can easily follow it in their daily lives without feeling pressured or restricted.

What are your Vision and Mission?
My vision is to create awareness about healthy living and inspire people to take care of their physical, mental, and emotional health before serious problems arise.
My mission is to provide simple, practical, and holistic wellness solutions that genuinely improve people’s lives. I want to help individuals understand that health is not about temporary diets but about building balanced and sustainable habits.
I also wish to continue supporting and motivating women to prioritize their own well-being while managing personal and professional responsibilities.

What are your achievements in this industry?
One of my biggest achievements is the trust and positive results I have received from people through my wellness and counseling work. Helping individuals improve their health, confidence, and lifestyle gives me the greatest satisfaction.
Being recognized at the National Women Eminence Awards & Conclave 2026 as a Most Inspiring Founder, Nutritionist Specialist, and Therapeutic Counselor was also a proud moment for me. It motivated me to continue working with more dedication and responsibility.
For me, real achievement is when people feel healthier, happier, and more confident because of the guidance and support I could provide.

Does your work ever feel tedious to you? If so, how do you stay driven and motivated towards it?
Like every profession, there are challenging and tiring days because wellness counseling requires patience, consistency, and emotional involvement. Every person’s journey is different, and results sometimes take time.
However, seeing people transform their health and regain confidence keeps me motivated. Even small improvements in someone’s life give me a sense of fulfillment and remind me why I started this work.
Yoga, meditation, reading, and self-discipline also help me stay mentally balanced and positive. I believe when your work is connected to helping people, motivation naturally comes from the impact you create.

What are your hobbies and specific interests other than your profession?
Apart from my profession, I enjoy yoga, meditation, and mindfulness practices because they help me stay calm and balanced. I also like reading motivational and spiritual books that support personal growth and emotional wellness.
Listening to soothing music and spending quality time with family are also important parts of my life. I enjoy learning about natural healing, healthy lifestyle habits, and wellness practices that can positively improve everyday life.
These activities help me stay connected with positivity, peace, and continuous self-growth.

You have achieved so much in life, any specific advice you’d like to share with our readers to grow in life.
I believe success comes from consistency, discipline, and patience. People often look for quick results, but real growth happens slowly through small daily efforts and positive habits.
My advice would be to take care of your health, believe in yourself, and avoid comparing your journey with others. Every person has a different path and timeline in life.
Stay focused on self-improvement, keep learning, and do not give up during difficult phases. Challenges are part of growth and often teach the biggest lessons.
Most importantly, stay grounded, grateful, and connected to inner peace because true success is not only about achievements but also about happiness and balance in life.
