Interview by The Success Today
Could you tell us about yourself and your work?
Hi, I’m Manjot Kaur. I have been working in the healthcare sector for the past seven years, primarily focusing on patients dealing with lifestyle-related conditions and disorders.
In India, many people unknowingly suffer from lifestyle conditions caused by factors such as stress, hormonal imbalance, unhealthy weight, poor nutrition, and other lifestyle factors. My work focuses on helping people understand the root cause of their health concerns and guiding them toward better health through personalized diet plans and appropriate supplementation.
I have worked with individuals dealing with conditions such as thyroid disorders, high blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol issues, PCOD, hormonal imbalances, and weight management.
My approach is not just about managing a condition temporarily but about educating people and helping them make sustainable lifestyle changes. I believe that when people understand their bodies and the reasons behind their health concerns, they can make better and more informed choices for their long-term well-being.
How you and your service is helping society?
I believe one of the biggest ways my work helps society is by creating awareness. Many people are unaware of the root causes behind their health conditions and often focus only on managing the symptoms.
My aim is to educate people about their health, nutrition, lifestyle, and the importance of identifying potential deficiencies or underlying factors at an early stage.
For example, people with diabetes may experience symptoms or complications that they may not understand or know how to manage appropriately. Through proper education, nutrition guidance, and professional advice, I help people understand what their bodies need and when they should seek appropriate medical support.
I strongly believe that prevention and early awareness can make a significant difference. If people understand their health concerns at an initial stage and take the right steps, they may be able to prevent those concerns from progressing into more serious complications.
So, my work is not just about providing a diet plan—it is about educating, creating awareness, and encouraging people to take responsibility for their health.
What is the USP of your work?
The USP of my work is that I focus on identifying and addressing the root cause rather than simply focusing on the visible problem.
For example, if someone approaches me for weight loss but also has an underlying thyroid or hormonal issue, simply focusing on weight loss may not provide sustainable results. We first need to understand and appropriately manage the underlying health concern, along with professional medical guidance wherever required.
I believe that temporary changes can produce temporary results, but sustainable results come from understanding the body and addressing the factors contributing to the problem.
Another important part of my work is education. I want my clients to understand why they are experiencing a particular health concern, what lifestyle factors may be contributing to it, and what changes they can make.
So, my USP is a combination of root-cause-focused guidance, personalized nutrition, appropriate supplementation, and health education, with the goal of helping people achieve sustainable improvements rather than short-term results.
What are your Vision and Mission?
My vision and mission is to create a more health-conscious and well-informed society.
I want every individual to have a basic understanding of their body, nutrition, lifestyle, and the factors that can influence their health. People should know which habits are beneficial, what warning signs they should pay attention to, and when professional medical advice is necessary.
I believe that health education should not be limited to people who are already suffering from a condition. It should begin much earlier, so people can make better choices and potentially prevent avoidable health complications.
My goal is therefore not only to help patients manage their existing concerns but also to educate individuals, families, and communities about healthier lifestyles.
If every person becomes more aware of their health and understands the importance of early action, we can create a society where people are more proactive about their well-being rather than waiting until a condition becomes serious.
What are your achievements in this industry?
Over the past seven years in the healthcare sector, I have had the opportunity to work with many individuals dealing with different lifestyle-related health concerns.
I have completed certifications in areas including diabetes and oncology-focused nutrition, which have helped me develop a deeper understanding of specialized dietary requirements associated with different health conditions.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my work has been seeing clients make significant improvements through appropriate nutrition, lifestyle changes, and professional guidance. I have worked with individuals dealing with concerns such as PCOD, thyroid disorders, weight management, and other lifestyle-related conditions.
Seeing people become more aware of their health, improve their lifestyle, and feel better about themselves is one of my biggest achievements.
For me, success is not limited to certifications or professional milestones. The real achievement is being able to positively influence someone’s health journey and help them understand that consistent, informed lifestyle changes can make a meaningful difference.
Does your work ever feel tedious to you? If so, how do you stay driven and motivated towards it?
Yes, I believe feeling tired or mentally exhausted from long-term work is completely natural. We are human, and sometimes our mind and body simply need a break.
Whenever I feel that I am becoming tired or need motivation, I remind myself why I started this work in the first place. I look around and realize how many people—whether they are patients, relatives, friends, or members of our own families—are struggling with health concerns or lack basic health awareness.
This motivates me to keep going.
I strongly believe in addressing health concerns at an early stage. For example, when people understand the importance of managing a condition properly from the beginning and seek appropriate medical care and lifestyle guidance, they may reduce the risk of complications later.
The thought that my knowledge can help someone become more aware, take action at the right time, and improve their quality of life keeps me motivated.
For me, knowing that my work can make even one person’s health journey better is enough to keep me driven.
What are your hobbies and specific interests other than your profession?
Apart from my profession, I love reading books. I am particularly interested in books that involve suspense and mystery. I enjoy trying to understand the story, looking for clues, and figuring out what the solution or reason behind something could be.
Another hobby that I really enjoy is painting. For me, painting is not just a creative activity; it is also a way to express myself.
I believe that when we are stressed or overwhelmed, creativity can provide a sense of peace. Through painting, we can express our imagination, thoughts, emotions, happiness, or even stress without necessarily putting everything into words.
These hobbies help me maintain a balance outside my professional life. Reading keeps my mind curious and engaged, while painting allows me to slow down and express my creative side.
I feel that having interests outside work is important because they give us an opportunity to relax, recharge, and reconnect with ourselves.
You have achieved so much in life, any specific advice you’d like to share with our readers to grow in life.
The one piece of advice I would like to give everyone is: step out of your comfort zone.
If you remain in your comfort zone throughout your life, you may never discover your true potential. If you have a genuine interest in something and believe you can do well in it, follow your heart and have the courage to take that first step.
I strongly believe that once you take action, things start falling into place. Have faith in yourself, stay positive, visualize what you want, and keep working toward it.
Manifestation can help you develop a positive mindset and clarity about your goals, but I believe it must be accompanied by action. Dreams do not become reality simply by imagining them—we have to take consistent steps toward them.
So, believe in yourself, trust the journey, keep learning, and most importantly, take action. Step outside your comfort zone, because that is where growth truly begins.
