Interviewed by The Success Today – A Digital Webzine.
Could you tell us about yourself and your work?
I describe myself as a commerce graduate by qualification, a luxury wedding photography business owner by profession, and an artist at heart. My work is not too far from my passion. I am one of those few lucky people who has turned his passion into a profession in the form of Creative Films by Sahil Arora. I love capturing moments for people to cherish later. It gives me so much pleasure when I see an ear-to-ear smile on my client’s faces after they see our work. It is genuinely the thing that keeps me going. Weddings are not events, they are emotions, and I feel lucky and proud to be the one who plays a part in capturing them forever!
How you and your service is helping society?
We are helping people by making their special day last forever in the form of our videos and pictures. When a couple sits together after a decade of getting married to watch their wedding video or flip through the wedding album with their kids, the broad smiles on their faces and that sigh of nostalgia they take is what we provide as a wedding photography company!
We never forget what the day is about, so we accommodate, adjust, and stay in the background, but we make sure we do not hinder the ceremonies in any way. We become the family that represents both sides at the wedding 🙂
What is the USP of your work?
Unique Selling Points are many because we understand the market and client needs well. I am a part of a 35-year-old legacy. My father was in the same business, and now I am the second generation taking it forward. What we are proud of is-
We have an extremely experienced team, so we take a limited number of people instead of crowding the wedding with a vast team that ultimately does not even deliver quality
We value our customers and treat their happiness and satisfaction as our utmost priority instead of just putting our terms and conditions as the final word
We start as photographers and end up being family
We plan photography sessions and couple portraits in a way that the couple and family can spend most of their time enjoying the day and having a blast rather than spending more than half of the event posing for pictures
What are your Vision and Mission?
The mission is to leave every client happy and satisfied. To give them more than we promised and much more than they expected.
My vision is to become a trendsetter in the wedding photography industry. To bring new concepts with every wedding rather than every wedding season.
What are your achievements in this industry?
Achievements in this industry are more subjective than objective. They are mostly intangible, but if I talk about numbers, then we have done more than 100 weddings in a couple of years. In addition, we have done professional photoshoots for famous Bollywood stars like Sara Ali Khan, Varun Dhawan and many more.
But I feel the real achievement is that we became family to those we onboarded as clients. We get many referrals daily where our precious clients vouch for us to the new ones. Now, this is what I call an achievement, having an army of happy clients!
Does your work ever feel tedious to you? If so, how do you stay driven and motivated toward it?
To be honest, YES! Weddings are a tedious and tiring business, not just for us but also for the ones getting married and their families. Hours are long, sleep is negligible, you are constantly standing, attention to detail has to be on point at all times, and all of this has to be done with a smile. So, of course, it gets tiring, but we love what we do because we know that our pictures and videos will be the only way our clients can relive these super precious moments of their lives. Also, the smile and excitement on everyone’s faces help us stay upbeat!
What are your hobbies and specific interests other than your profession?
Photography is a great hobby to pursue, but since that is also my profession and I can’t count it as one, so I would say football, cycling, documenting my experiences in the form of videos and horseback riding are just a few things that I love to do in my free time.
You have achieved so much in life. Any specific advice you’d like to share with our readers to grow in life?
Follow your heart. Let it lead you! We are often too scared to listen to what our inner self has to say. Instead, we give more weight to the advice our friends and family provide, neglecting what we want to do. We get overly worried about what people will say, let that get in the way of our dreams. But for once, let go of your fears and give yourself a chance to see what you have gained. Trust me; you will end up surprising yourself!
