Could you tell us about yourself and your work?
Hi, I am Nidhi Tiwari, a culinary enthusiast whose journey began in a middle-class Brahmin household, where I cultivated a deep love for cooking and experimenting with vegetarian dishes. This passion eventually culminated in the establishment of my own restaurant, Nidhi KI Rasoi Se.
How you and your service is helping society?
My commitment to culinary excellence extends beyond the kitchen, as I have actively contributed to society by creating employment opportunities. Since its inception in 2021 with just two staff members, my restaurant has grown to accommodate 35-40 employees, each proudly supporting their families.
What is the USP of your work?
What sets my restaurant apart is our unwavering dedication to traditional Indian recipes. We prioritise serving high-quality, home-style food, with a special focus on catering to the unique dietary needs of pregnant women, children, and senior citizens, distinguishing us from other establishments.
What are your Vision and Mission?
My vision is to preserve and celebrate the rich heritage of Indian cuisine, ensuring that future generations can savor the authentic flavors of home-cooked meals. Our mission revolves around the ethos of “Zayaka Ghar Ka,” emphasizing the importance of comfort and familiarity in every dish we serve.
What are your achievements in this industry?
While my culinary journey is still unfolding, I am proud of the milestones we have achieved, from humble beginnings in a home kitchen to expanding into cloud kitchens, catering services, and more.
Does your work ever feel tedious to you? If so, how do you stay driven and motivated towards it?
Despite occasional challenges, such as balancing work commitments with family responsibilities, the positive feedback and appreciation from customers serve as a constant source of motivation to continue exceeding expectations and pushing boundaries.
What are your hobbies and specific interests other than your profession?
Beyond the realm of cooking, I find joy in indulging my creative side through painting, crafting, and embarking on adventures to explore the natural beauty of hilly landscapes alongside my loved ones.
