Interviewed by The Success Today – A Digital Webzine
Could you tell us about yourself and your work?
I am Dr. Archana Diwan. A practicing dentist with over two decades of experience and a passionate home baker/cake artist with over a decade of experience!! Profession and passion double up to give me two successful businesses to run simultaneously. While my dental clinic is well established with my husband ..….my baking venture is a B2C setup from home run individually by me. Customized cakes and cupcakes are baked on pre-order only. This professional arrangement has given me the joy of being a complete hands-on mom to my son …who now is 19 and well moving forward to pave his own path.
How you and your service is helping society?
Being a dentist has given me the opportunity to bring smiles to many faces. At our clinic we strive to provide quality dental treatment to all groups of society…be it the underprivileged too !! I have conducted many dental camps to increase awareness about oral health care and prevention before cure! Dental kits have been distributed and educational programs have been conducted.
Through my baking, I have distributed cakes to the underprivileged on festive occasions to spread festive cheer.
What is the USP of your work?
Customization and customer satisfaction are my USPs!! Be it dentistry or baking ……patient/client requirements are given priority. With a topping of professional advice in helping them achieve what they have come to me for, I seek satisfaction in their appreciation.
What are your vision and mission?
I always believe that one is always on the road to bettering oneself. This belief leaves me with the mission that at any point in time to provide the best of my services to my patients/clients. Always to stay abreast with the latest in your field so that you are able to deliver the best! With this mission comes a vision of striving to provide the best customer service always.
Does your work ever feel tedious to you? If so, how do you stay driven and motivated toward it?
Being a dentist and cake artist/home baker a high level of discipline, strategy, a whole lot of juggling and immense hard work is required. Running two professions sometimes takes a toll by disapproving family and friends who would dislike my absence due to my busy schedule. When you love your work and passion is your profession…..you are driven by dedication and commitment that would eventually be appreciated by all.
