Interviewed by The Success Today – A Digital Webzine

Could you tell us about yourself and your work?
I work with parents to help them become first-line coaches and counselors to their children. I have seen that no matter what a person’s profession is, they take parenting for granted. They don’t realize how it affects their child until it’s too late. I want to do everything possible from my side to avoid this.

How you and your service is helping society?
I believe that if the home is peaceful, joyful and full of excitement, everything else will fall into place. Unfortunately today most homes have become war zones. My online courses help parents work on their responses to their children and bring back the joy and excitement at home.

What is the USP of your work?
My course “Parent as Coach and Counselor” is unique in the sense that we do not work on children at all. Children are always natural and spontaneous. Any effort to change their behaviour will not work. So, I help parents to work on their responses to anything that their children do. I call this the Doing Nothing Method. Along with the course, I conduct live sessions to help parents implement the learnings. When parents work on themselves, magically everything at home transforms for the better.

What are your Vision and Mission?
Rebuilding families with excited parents and enthusiastic children is my vision. This year, my mission is to help 5000 families bring back the joy and excitement in their homes.

What are your achievements in this industry?
Parents who have either attended my workshops or are part of my Parent as Coach and Counselor course keep referring other parents who find it difficult to manage their kids, manage their emotions, have difficult relations at home and are getting relief. The achievement is difficult to quantify yet the difference it makes is immeasurable.

Does your work ever feel tedious to you? If so, how do you stay driven and motivated toward it?
You get tired only when you do something that you do not like. Here I am just being myself and helping others be themselves too. There is no question of being tired here. Neither is there a need for external motivation.

What are your hobbies and specific interests other than your profession?
I read a lot, especially books on psychology and spirituality. I also love listening to old Hindi songs and South Indian melody songs. I am a keen observer of people too.

You have achieved so much in life, any specific advice you’d like to share with our readers to grow in life?
Life is bigger and grander. Just experience and enjoy life to the fullest. Do not expect anything to happen as per your expectations. It will only bring disappointment. You can only work on yourself and when you have full control of yourself, everything will look beautiful.
