Interviewed by The Success Today – A Digital Webzine.
Could you tell us about yourself and your work?
I am Disha Chugani, born and brought up in Orange City. I’ve done a bachelor’s in Interiors and have always been someone who unapologetically chases anything that leads to creativity. ‘ROOVE’ is exceptionally special as it gave me the confidence and
a reason to believe in me and my inner potential. Roove was founded in 2018 and was started on a very introductory note. But I wanted to give it a shot. I understood the importance of this quote – ‘Never underestimate the power of a side business’ in the iconic year’ 2020′ when I was laid off from my job due to covid. So with the support and encouragement of my family and friends and my belief in my vision, I started working hard and covering every aspect, which led to the growth of my homegrown venture. Be it marketing or photography; things took a turn. Roove has now branched out on a significantly more significant number
in terms of options and creative heads. I gladly have covered many milestones and still aim to hustle and strive harder.
How you and your service are helping the society?
I am a firm believer in engaging with the right people. Supporting struggling vendors and working with small firms is a regular practice. I have been fortunate enough to make good connections with such hardworking people. I always try to keep the art and the products simple with a significant element of elegance (taking care of the 3R principle)
What is the USP of your work?
• Quality that we offer
I believe one should always think from a customer’s point of view. Your work should speak for you. We never compromise on the quality, and I believe our efforts have paid off as our beloved clients share the same view.
I like to create something of my own. The aim is always to launch something with my vision and taste. I experiment and give my clients something unique and different, a vibrant treat. Grateful to every client as always.
• Our relationship with customers
I am grateful that all the customers I’ve served to date have received the designed package with a smile! It’s always overwhelming when we successfully match their vision. I share a good relationship with all my customers. Our work is honest, approachable and personalised per our client’s vision, budget and preference. I guess that’s what makes us their constant.
What are your vision and mission?
My vision is to make ROOVE a household name. My aim and mission have always been to achieve renowned excellence in creativity, innovation, production and performance and to be an apotheosis in the
customer service industry. Feasible Uniqueness over anything.
What are your achievements in this industry?
We have covered many milestones, but there’s still a long way to go. Right from bulk orders to successfully dispatching our work out of India. From getting an overwhelming response on every new product, we launch (in terms of numbers) to designing our creations for renowned dignitaries… +it’s been a crazy ride.
Does your work ever feel tedious to you? If so, how do you stay driven and motivated towards it?
I mean every bit of it when I proudly say ‘NO’. I solely brainstorm, design, execute, shoot and manage all my branches. And it energizes me every time, but at the same time, it is a therapeutic connection that I gladly have discovered and built over the years. I genuinely believe that you should ‘do what you love and love what you do’ as it ensures efficiency, and in this era, that’s what helps you to wake up all energetic in the morning. But, of course, there are doubts; there are days when you wish to push harder, and I believe that’s healthy as it happens only when you do not feel like settling for less.
Keep Going | Believe In Yourself (are my constant reminders on such days)
What are your hobbies and specific interests other than your profession?
I am a person with simple choices. Music and natural treats are my mantras. Stepping out with my close-knit group is something that I look forward to. Take me anywhere / any place with florals or that feels *closer to nature, and I’ll be the happiest!
You have achieved so much in life; any specific advice you’d like to share with our readers to grow in life?
I believe, ‘You grow through what you go through. I feel I have just started. There’s a long way to go. But yes, every journey, every path you discover, you should be prepared that you may succeed or you may not. But you’ll always learn and grasp something out of it. So, don’t stop believing in yourself and your vision!
