Could you introduce us to yourself and brief us about your business?
I am Dr. Dilip Arjune. I am a Consultant Pathologist in Nagpur, having attained an MBBS degree followed by a Master’s Degree in Pathology and PG Diploma in Diabetology. Further, I hold a Ph.D. and an LLB Degree. Additionally, I’ve got an MBA in Hospital Management.
What is the role of your family in your achievements?
My family has been very supportive of me and my decisions. My wife, Amruta Arjune, and two kids have always given me helping hands in my professional and social work. They understand the depth of my profession and stand by my side as pillars of strength.
What is your ultimate aim as a doctor? How can you create a new path in your profession?
I always keep three things in mind while working- Service, Quality and Economy. I aim to bring the best in all these three sectors through my work.
What was the one thing that had first persuaded you to enter into this particular field?
I have aimed of becoming a doctor and serving society since my childhood. The possibility of making a difference in the world through my service is what persuaded me to enter the field of Medicine.
With such cut-throat competition in this industry, what is it that makes your services exceptional?
Getting pathological tests done can cost one a bomb of money. I offer 30 – 50 percent concession to all my patients so that no one avoids Pathological Investigations as it is a necessary step in the diagnosis of a disease.
Your achievements in this industry are more than impressive. Would you like to highlight some of your achievements?
I have already attached my achievement certificates in the early stage of the application process.
I don’t measure success in materialistic achievements. I’ve received appreciation for my professional and social work and I consider that as my biggest achievement.
Does your work ever feel unexciting to you? If so, how do you stay driven and motivated?
I chose this profession as my career, so there’s no question about it getting unexciting.
Apart from professional life, I devote my time towards social service as well, something that makes me happy and helps me keep going. Being able to become a helping hand to those in need gives me immense happiness and motivates me to do even better. Also for my social work during the pandemic, I have secured a spot in the Book of Records 2021.
You have achieved so much in life. What would you advise to those beginning their career in this field?
To all those who’re planning to work in the field of health, I’d say don’t just enter this sector for money or rewards. Rather, do it for the sense of satisfaction that this profession gives and you’re sure to face great success in life.
