Interviewed by The Success Today – A Digital Webzine.
Could you tell us about yourself and your work?
Hi! I am Malvvika Fulwwani, the Chief Clinical Dietitian & Founder of Healthitude that is Healthy + Attitude!
I am a Clinical Dietitian by profession & an Entrepreneur from the heart.
Since I started High School, I began doing all sorts of Fad and trending yo-yo diets to lose weight. Still, in vain, I enrolled in Post Graduation Diploma in Dietetics for a better understanding and fell in love with Therapeutic and Clinical Nutrition.
How you and your service is helping society?
I have been working in the field of Diet in Diabetes, Metabolic disorders for the last 8 years, where I have helped hundreds of patients to control their diabetes, hormonal imbalances like PCOS, hypothyroidism, etc. in a holistic way and not by making them die to eat, I have made them understand how minor lifestyle modifications could help them be healthier and better.
I have helped people with Pre- Diabetes and Type 2 Diabetes reverse their diseased conditions, and those with Type 1 Diabetes control it well!
What is the USP of your work?
My USP is Holistic Nutrition. I believe Diet is a staple food of a particular place and a community and not Dying to Eat which the diet culture, the quacks have made the latest trend. I have made my people choose health via wholesome homemade foods and not let them starve to achieve their goals.
What are your Vision and Mission?
Hippocrates rightly said, “Let food be thy medicine “, and that’s my mission. I want my people to choose and prioritise health and embark on a “Healthy Attitude” so that they don’t suffer from lifestyle disorders, thereby preventing themselves from taking medicines. My vision is to see my people being so healthy and fit via Diet that they don’t need pills and supplements.
What are your achievements in this industry?
I have written an international paper on Lipohypertrophy.
I have been the final nominee for the prestigious Best Indian Diabetes Educator for two consecutive years.
I have been awarded the “International Glam Icon Best Dietitian Award 2021.”
Does your work ever feel tedious to you? If so, how do you stay driven and motivated towards it?
My work feels tedious, sometimes monotonous. Yet, I stay driven by talking to my mentors and seniors, reading self-motivational books, and taking a break.
Sometimes when I feel my work is tedious at that very moment, I come across cases that make me realise my work is a boon for many out there. I am grateful to my patients, mentors, and family for constantly motivating me to strive forward and better myself.
What are your hobbies and specific interests other than your profession?
My hobbies apart from my work are Reading and meeting new people!
You have achieved so much in life. Any specific advice you’d like to share with our readers to grow in life?
