Could you tell us about yourself and your work?
I am a mother of 7 years old twins based in Bangalore.
I am a Parenting Advisor and counsellor for children with Autism, ADHD, speech, and developmental delays. I coach parents worldwide for their child/s and empower them to become their child therapists and ease down their parenting journey with special needs children.
How are you and your service helping society?
Being a counsellor, I allow parents to let go of their pain and enjoy their cute little bundle of joy’s childhood, no matter the diagnosis. As I am coaching parents with every type of therapy required for their child/s so that they can connect better with their child at home and make better bonding with more strong-headed and properly nurtured children who will lead their life with a more optimistic approach
What is the USP of your work?
I have been in this industry for over 5 years as an Autism Advisor, and people know how I deal with parents’ mental health in my sessions and how I respond to questions in no time. I am always available for my clients.
What are your Vision and Mission?
My vision and mission revolve around parents with special needs kids only, how to break their mindset and empower them to take action at the correct time and become their child’s therapist.
What are your achievements in this industry?
It is impossible to describe my satisfaction when I see the happiness on my clients’ faces and how happy I feel when I guide parents on the journey of parenthood in words.Last year in 2021 I received an award from the 1000 women of Asia award from Womennovetor.
Does your work ever feel tedious to you? If so, how do you stay driven and motivated towards it?
Sometimes, I am exhausted just because I am a wife and mother of twins working in different time zones. First, my husband is my most extensive support system as he knows I work for a cause. Secondly, my twins are always ready to support and give different ideas to be motivated. Finally, the small daily achievements of my client’s messages drove me and encouraged me that parents can do wonders with their children.
What are your hobbies and specific interests other than your profession?
I am foody and love cooking, abstract art, travelling, and most favourite playing with my twins.
You have achieved so much in life. Any specific advice you’d like to share with our readers to grow in life?
A dream of changing the world has always been my dream since I was a child, but growing up, I didn’t know how or what I wanted to do. But after my child’s misdiagnosis of AUTISM broke me, I was in depression, but when I collected myself on my own, there was no looking back in my life. So I always say, “Despite your deepest apprehensions, God will give you strength when you feel buried and lost, ” so “I AM” is such a powerful word. Use it wisely for yourself. You will only learn, improve, and figure it out by doing, so action breeds more clearly than thoughts. It’s not failure that restricts progress; it’s our mindset toward it.
