Interviewed by The Success Today – A Digital Webzine
Could you tell us about yourself and your work?
‘Art is a spiritual experience’
Hi. I’m Swati Pasari, a sculptor and painter from Kolkata. Art for me is so so much more than paint and brush. It gives me a platform to express my beliefs and feelings.
More about me: I’m a jolly, fun loving person that enjoys driving and travelling to new locations.
I paint professionally, and I adore what I do. My enthusiasm and motivation seem to grow with each passing year.
My art is motivated by a desire to promote positivity, spirituality, and tranquillity.
How you and your service is helping society?
I have a heart that cries out for the oppressed, and I use my creativity to spread love and happiness to everyone in my vicinity. I frequently visit the school and donate to the hospital in Varanasi because I have a strong spiritual connection to that sacred place. Being one of India’s most promising artists, a social crusader, and a supporter of the young, I live a life dedicated to helping others.
What is the USP of your work?
The unique selling point of my art is the serenity and tranquillity it exudes via the use of vivid and bright colours. It gives the viewer a sense of calm even through its abstract look. Each of my artistic creations is an expression of joy and life’s festivities and promotes the same.
What are your Vision and Mission?
My mission is to reach to as many people as possible through my art. I want to be recognized globally for what I do. I want to set my style as to when someone sees my painting, they understand it is from Swati Pasari. My goal is to continue to improve every day, perform at more events, and use my artwork to uplift people’s spirits and contribute to society.
What are your achievements in this industry?
I have received a few awards including the Times Power Icon Award, Blindwink India Icon Award, Savy Awards and the Pride of Bengal Award. I’ll be ever grateful for all of these honours!
Does your work ever feel tedious to you? If so how do you stay driven and motivated toward it?
Everyone has those times when they are tired and burned out, as a normal human, it happens to me too. At these moments chanting and meditation helps me to stay devoted and put together. As a Shiva devotee, I frequently say Shiva mantras. My granddad has always been a huge source of inspiration and motivation for me. I’ve learned from him to never give up on your goals and to carry on with your life.
What are your hobbies and specific interests other than your profession?
In addition to my job, I’m a person who enjoys cars and travelling. I like to explore new things and attempt things I’ve never done before.
You have achieved so much in life, any specific advice you’d like to share with our readers to grow in life?
The one piece of advice I would want to provide to all of the readers and to everyone who shares my aspirations for success is to never, ever give up. Never give up on your aspirations, please. You may encounter many difficulties along the way, but never give up! Also want to put the fact that no dream is small or big, no profession is good or bad. One should always follow their heart!
