Could you tell us about yourself and your work?
I’m Divya Mishra, a registered yoga teacher and nutritionist. I’m 38 years old and the mother of a 9 years old boy.
I’ve done my MBA and worked as an HR executive but fitness and nutrition were always my passion and interest. Specially that helped my get back into my healthy shape post-delivery and also helped me maintain it. So in 2018, I decided to pursue my career in this field. I did my nutrition course and after that, I did a further yoga course. I’ve always believed that healthy diet and exercise always go together for a healthy body. And in today’s stressful scenario, yoga is the best for physical and mental health. So now I’m providing services as a complete health programme including of personalised diet plans and yoga sessions. I’ve been attached to Wecare women and children hospital, satellite. I provide personalised diet plans depending on their goals. I also provide 1-1 yoga sessions till my clients get it right. My main area of interest is weight loss, weight gain, PCOD, PCOD, hormonal imbalance and kids nutrition. I am always available for my clients through phone calls or WhatsApp. I provide special diet plans as well when they are travelling or festivals are there.
How you and your service is helping society?
In today’s scenario, where there r pandemics, early-age heart attacks and kids with obesity, my motto and goal are to make a healthy society. My services and expertise provide the transformations from an unhealthy lifestyle to a healthy lifestyle for all age groups. My health programme helps kids perform better in sports, girls to loose weight, men can perform better in the gym and their workout sessions. My services help improve mental health as well.
What is the USP of your work?
The USP of my work is personalised diet plans and yoga sessions. I’m always available with my clients through calls or WhatsApp. My main goal is a far loss for obese clients and improve strength and performance for kids. I provide strictly homemade diet food and I do not provide any harmful medicines or drugs to my clients.
My main motto is “Homemade food is the healthiest food for a healthy body and mind.”
What are your Vision and Mission?
My vision is a healthy and disease-free society. Currently, we are facing many westernised diseases like Obesity, hypertension, and diabetes. My vision is to make people educate about these diseases and help them get rid of them. Also, I want society to adopt a healthy lifestyle for all age groups.
What are your achievements in this industry?
In a small 4 years of my career, I’ve managed to transform more than 200 clients into a healthy lifestyle adaptation. I’ve been associated with a prestigious Wecare women and children hospital. I’ve been acknowledged for my social media contribution and for reaching our clients from other countries as well.
Does your work ever feel tedious to you? If so, how do you stay driven and motivated toward it?
No, my work never gets stressful for me. I believe in giving enough time to my all clients so they are clear of their doubts. I work as per my client’s schedule and also my home chores and my son’s studies. Still I never get stressed about my work. And as everybody needs a rest to recover, I also take a quality rest once a week from work but still, I’m always on call and available for my clients.
What are your hobbies and specific interests other than your profession?
Apart from my profession, I m a professionally trained classical singer. I love singing and singing is my break from my hectic schedule. I also love cooking. I love to make delicious food items and I can also make many cuisines. Music is the therapy and I make sure my clients include that in their regime depending upon their taste.
You have achieved so much in life, any specific advice you’d like to share with our readers to grow in life?
The only advice I got was that be persistent and hard-working. And that changed my life for good. Our health and body need constant hard work and consistency to make it better and keep it better. So the only advice I want to give is to be consistent and do hard work.
