Interviewed by The Success Today – A Digital Webzine

Could you tell us about yourself and your work?
I belong to “ City of Joy” Kolkata but currently staying in “ City Beautiful” Chandigarh. I have done my MBA from Lovely Professional University and have 1+ corporate experience in the field of Sales & Operations. I am also honoured with Doctorate in Social work by World Human Rights Protection Commission.

What keeps me alive is too pour a potion of positivity amongst everyone through handwritten letters by giving them a way to express themselves because sometimes you don’t get a right person to whom you can reach out and open up and then other understands you the same way you want to get understood, so that’s where letter writing gives you an oppurtunity to remove the emotional baggage that we accumulate in our day to day life.

How you and your service is helping society?
In 2015, I was going through the toughest phase of my life with rejections and failures storming into my life that brought a moment of questioning my existence. It was at that time I came across Project Life Force, a Kolkata based on Blood Donation which has actually empowered me to become what I am today, a very optimistic soul who has a purpose to give back selflessly without expecting anything in back. Once I got empowered, I used my superpower which is complimenting people effortlessly on day to day basis because I believe the power of words is immense which can make someone day.
It was last year in 2021, I started with Letters of Hope with the intent to give a platform to every to voice their thoughts and remove their emotional baggage on day to day basis.
The inspiration came from an amazing soul I met through Clubhouse, a social media platform who used to write 1000 Encouragement Letters and that fascinated me and I was like, I need to start this and that’s how it began.

What is the USP of your work?
It’s very simple that is to keep pouring positivity from time to time so that people around us can flourish and heal and keep the storms at bay just the way I could and grow which works on the same analogy that the more we water plant better it would grow by nurturing it.

What are our Vision and Mission?
The vision is humongous which is to write One Billion Letters and inspire One Lakh Souls to make letter writing as once in a week habit in their lives. The Mission is while this happens to make we empower these one lakh souls too in their personal lives so that this whole process would be a kind of life-changing one.

What are your Achievements in this Industry?
The biggest achievement has been my own self-healing to be very honest because this process it has helped me to keep the storms of rejections, failures, overthinking, and questioning my own existence keeping at bay to the extent off taking the extreme step too.
In this whole process that started in 2015, I have been able to receive much-needed peace, contentment and patience for which I am extremely grateful.
In addition to that, I have been honoured with the prestigious award of Doctorate in Social Work in 2022 by the World Human Rights Protection Commission for my work in this field and Achiever of Year Award in 2021 in Social Work. I am also Global Goodwill Ambassador for India for working at the ground level.

Does your work ever feel tedious to you? If yes, how do you stay driven and motivated?
Letters have become my best friends now and pen&paper a vital cogs so this process can never become tedious because I just enjoy doing it. The madness is such that even if you wake me up and tell me I need to write a letter, I would pen it down then and there.

What keeps me driven is important learning which is GIVING BACK SELFLESSLY WITHOUT EXPECTING ANYTHING BACK while you are in that, I would say it’s tough to keep this mindset but for me, it has to know ingrained very deeply.

What are your hobbies and interests other than this?
I love ruining a lot so have been participating in marathons since 2021 and have completed many 5K and 10K marathons with an iconic dream of Competing in the Iron Man Triathlon.

You have achieved so much in life, any specific advice you’d like to share with our readers to grow in life?
First of all, thank you so much for giving me this blessed platform where I can express my story with amazing readers and the advice I can give would be to TAKE EVERYDAY AS the LAST DAY OF YOUR LIFE AND COMPLIMENT PEOPLE AROUND YOU AS MUCH YOU CAN BECAUSE WHAT YOU SPEAK HAS POWER YO CREATE RIPPLES IN OTHERS LIFE.
