Interviewed by The Success Today – A Digital Webzine.
Could you tell us about yourself and your work?
I am a Psychotherapist, experienced Life coach, Dream analyst, Clinical hypnotherapist, Corporate trainer and spiritual Healer, working in the field for more than 22 years. I started this journey when I was 16 years old and became the youngest Reiki Grandmaster of that time. And as my passion grew, at the age of 21 years, I started Vishwas Healing Centre along with my higher studies in Psychology.
Vishwas Healing Centre is the place where an integrative approach is used i.e. counselling, psychotherapy along with Energy Healing Therapy. Today at Vishwas Healing Centre we have more than 25 healing modalities to work and learn.
How you and your service are helping society?
I started this Centre when counselling and talking about mental health were considered taboo. But I understood the need for this work in society and continued providing the services and with time working with integrated approaches. Here we do not work with conventional methods but focus on research and development and integrating the processes psychologically, and spiritually. And it is about focusing on the quality of work and the result, due to which we maintain a 99% success rate.
What is the USP of your work?
The USP for us is the integrative approach that we take towards wellness. Counselling and other psychotherapies are done with an integrative approach and the use of non-conventional methods for the treatment of psychological problems.
We understand the need for overall wellness and thus focus on adding new and unique methods as opposed to just focusing on one aspect. Energy healing, crystal therapy, psychoanalysis, Hypnosis, and working on lifestyle changes are something we add to counselling.
What are your Vision and Mission?
It is a need for society to be aware of mental health and this is the mission that I am working on. Making sure that society is aware of anxiety, depression, anger management and other various stress-coping skills. It is about awareness through posts, blogs, articles, interviews, and talks that we conduct nationally and internationally.
My vision is that people have psychological awareness and promote healing therapies. People are empowered and knowledgeable enough to not only help themselves but also their family members and society.
What are your achievements in this industry?
Though there are many things here I worked on and achieved. Whether it’s being among the Top 20 Healthcare Experts, or Recently conducting the event with Rotary Club Lagos Island, Nigeria & Rotary Club, Shomolu, Nigeria, most important for me, my biggest achievement is the success rate of 99% that we see. And thus knowing that my day and night hard work and dedication towards my work and passion is truly benefiting the people.
Through my work, I am able to spread awareness in society and more and more people are aware of wellness and taking the right steps towards wellness.
Does your work ever feel tedious to you? If so, how do you stay driven and motivated toward it?
I never feel tedious with my work. I really enjoy my work, the more I work, the more I enjoy and the more energy I have.
I am always driven and motivated because I am passionate about my work. And anyone who is passionate and driven about their work, who really loves their work, that person doesn’t need any extrinsic motivation. When the work is being done out of happiness, the person will always be driven to work and shall have more energy for their work and passion. So it’s my work that motivates me, it’s the work gives me happiness.
What are your hobbies and specific interests other than your profession?
It’s the creativity that ignites thought and energy within me. I am a creative person myself and l like to be surrounded by creativity. I always try to innovate and bring the same to work – my counselling, my therapies, my healings or my crystal work. My interest includes Art, painting and reading.
You have achieved so much in life, any specific advice you’d like to share with our readers to grow in life?
My advice to you all to grow in life is that each and every day you should improve your efficiency and proficiency.
And Second, you are your own competition. You shouldn’t be competing with others but rather competing with yourself. And the Most important is that you keep learning, each day.
