Could you tell us about yourself and your work?
I am a practicing nutritionist and the founder of 360 Degree Nutrition. I was awarded a Ph.D. in Food Science & Nutrition (Sports Nutrition) after completing a Master’s Degree in Food Science & Nutrition. I have been practicing in this field for 19 years. I have published articles and research papers in local newspapers, magazines, and international journals to spread nutrition awareness amongst people. I have delivered lectures and webinars on nutrition on various platforms.

How you and your service is helping society?
There is a saying that with each bite, you are either fighting a disease or feeding one. I design a customized diet plan based on a person’s history and requirements. These customized diet plans are helping people achieve their target weight, improve their health condition and live a quality life with their loved ones.

What is the unique selling point of your work?
Sustainable diet planning is the USP of my work. Plans designed by me are simple and easy to follow depending on the client’s needs, availability of food, and the traditions they follow. With regular monitoring and necessary modifications as suggested, people find it easy to adopt these changes in their diet.

What are your vision and mission?
Our vision is to improve and maintain the nutritional status of individuals.
I believe that healthy eating is the foundation for good health. Inculcating a healthy lifestyle amongst kids and teens, i.e., the next generation of our country is my mission.

What are your achievements in this industry?
After years of working with hospitals and health clubs, I started my consulting e-clinic under the name 360 Degree Nutrition in 2015. I received diet consulting requests from individuals in 14 varied nations between 2015 and 2022. My accomplishment is that I have assisted clients from tiny towns in India to major cities all over the world.

Does your work ever feel tedious to you? If so, how do you stay driven and motivated towards it?
I never found my work monotonous but rather challenging. Each individual is different concerning body parameters, biochemical parameters, medical history, dietary habits, etc. People of the same height, weight, and gender may have various health goals. They may react differently to the same pattern of diet. They may need different solutions to overcome their challenges. I enjoy planning diets for my clients after every follow-up.

What are your hobbies and specific interests other than your profession?
Listening to music is my favourite activity. I enjoy sketching. I am interested in activities that involve creativity.

You have achieved so much in life. Any specific advice you’d like to share with our readers to grow in life?
From my experience of 19 years in this field, I would like to emphasize that honesty is crucial for whatever work you are engaged in. Decide your goals, commit to your work and act on the plan. I found this to be a simple formula for success.
