Interviewed by The Success Today – A Digital Webzine.
Could you tell us about yourself and your work?
I am a dietitian, mother, entrepreneur, motivational speaker, researcher, ex-lecturer, and wellness and lifestyle coach.
I take pride and gratitude for I am able to touch people’s lives in an extremely positive manner. With an experience of 10+ years in the Nutrition & Dietetics industry, I’ve observed the change in the overall ideology of the audience, and I’ve been able to play my part in making them rise from the diet mentality to Holistic Wellness. My primary concern as a qualified dietitian and practising lifestyle coach is to ensure that I can guide my clients to a state of health in body, mind, and soul. This is achieved by ensuring discipline, positivity, and patience—the three virtues I instil in every client through the regular counselling sessions. The diets are planned after a strenuous assessment of anthropometric, pathological, and clinical parameters, keeping in mind the physiological and psychological status of the client. With 5000+ clients across the globe, I’ve successfully helped people manage diabetes, blood pressure, PCOD, piles, constipation, acidity, flatulence, low energy levels, thyroid, obesity, uric acid, dyslipidemia, etc. sustainably.
How you and your service is helping society?
In this post-COVID era, the biggest asset one has is health. My services help them manage this asset. With the inherent trait of being a caring and kind person, I believe in going over the edge to help a client lead a happy and fitter life.
What is the USP of your work?
Ensuring the research-based and scientifically planned diet plans that are easy to implement is the USP of my work. The regular follow-ups and counselling sessions are the cherry on top.
What is your vision and mission?
I envision a healthy, happy world without the fear of restrictions, where each of my clients is trained enough to listen to their bodies and make the necessary adjustments rather than relying on every other half-knitted piece of information found on social media or magazines. On August 1, 2010, this entry was published.
What are your achievements in this industry?
My biggest achievement is the smile on my client’s faces and the satisfaction in their hearts. I’ve been awarded as Best Dietitian in the City in the years- 2017 and 2018. Having co-authored 10+ research papers in national and international journals, I was invited as the sole researcher in nutrition from Punjab at the prestigious PGHTNCON in 2016. My research on Diabetes and Waist Hip Ratio was conferred as Best Research Paper Presentation at SGRD Amritsar 2017. I was recently appointed as Assistant Clinical Director for Special Olympics Bharat’s Guinness World Record Setter National Health Screening.
