I am Suchismita Chattaraj, a Bengali multi-faceted talent, an engineer by profession and an artist by passion. Today, I am a passionate singer, an incredible dancer, a composer, and a blogger. I love to incorporate Indian/Western and Bengali culture into all of my creations to showcase my roots and where I come from.
I am the founder and the owner of ChiqueMyWay, which aims at setting up a fashion statement for conventional women who do not belong to the fashion industry but have a knack and interest in the latest trends and styles.
I also have a project Unspoken Prejudice (USP), which aims at breaking the stereotypes that surround around how one should carry themselves to be “socially acceptable”. With our project Unspoken Prejudice (USP), we aim to make members of the society aware of these norms that in a way have been ingrained into our subconscious. We believe and trust that by having an open discourse and understanding the effects of these norms, we can bring these taboos from the unthinkable subconscious to an open realm for the people to understand the impacts of these taboos on our lives.

For as long as I can remember, I have always adored doing artistic things. Getting photographed and posting pictures on social media has always been something that gave me the utmost happiness. People around me were so fascinated and interested in my styling skills that they always consulted and asked for my advice, be it my colleagues, relatives or friends. They absolutely loved my pictures and motivated me to create my own blog, which is how- Chiquemyway began.

One of my proudest achievements has to be my project โUnspoken Prejudiceโ, bringing unthinkable and unspoken social norms to light for an open discourse. It has brought so many topics that were never been discussed brought to light. It has started so many conversations that were always swept beneath the rug.
I now have a 20K strong family on my Instagram. I have been featured on multiple platforms and collaborated with several beauty and skincare brands as well.
In 2018, I had released my second album- Barso Se, for which I received such an overwhelming response. This song takes the credit for getting me a verified celebrity account on Smule.

It’s my parents, especially my mother, who always keeps me motivated, pushes me forward and always trusts me. They both have been beside me through thick and thick no matter what. They ensured to give me the freedom and the most comfortable atmosphere to explore my passions.

I firmly believe that life is the best teacher, and experience is the ultimate lesson that we all have to go through in order to discover our strengths.
So do not get disappointed without exploring what you are good at, and the moment you discover the same, just put your blood and sweat to achieve it.
Always keep it simple. Let your content be an expression of who you are and what you want to convey. Donโt complicate things but focus on one or two themes and niche that interests you.
