Interviewed by The Success Today – A Digital Webzine
Could you tell us about yourself and your work?
I am an integrative health coach with added specializations in Hormonal Health, Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics. I believe each human being is born to fulfil a purpose, and I have found my goal in life which is to make people aware of holistic living. My consultations are focused on empowering people to lead a simple and sustainable life and be more aware of their mental health.
How are you and your service helping society?
I have helped hundreds of people regain health in a holistic way. I work on lifestyle disease reversal through changes in dietary habits, everyday routine, and attention to mental health. Through specialization in Hormonal health, I have helped numerous young women and teenage girls overcome issues like PCOS, PCOD, early puberty, and other menstrual problems through natural remedies.
What is the USP of your work?
I strongly believe in the power of Ayurveda. My guidance is focused on empowering people to lead a simple and healthy way of life that is everlasting. Indian ancient wisdom is immensely rich. Our ancestors have deciphered natural remedies which can cure any disorder – and now the entire world is adopting those proven methods. The key lies in our Dincharya and the food we eat. I just fine tune daily routine, make necessary changes in dietary patterns and introduce mental healing rituals to achieve results for my clients.
What are your Vision and Mission?
We are living in a world where people want instant results. They are ready to go for surgeries and medications just to look slimmer and fitter. They do not understand the repercussions and shelf life of such treatments. I aim to create a community of learned nutrition consultants to ensure a wider reach geographically. The essence of consultancy remains focused on simple living inspired by ancient Indian wisdom. This can make a world of a difference for generations to come.
What are your achievements in this field?
It has been a rewarding journey till now. I was felicitated by Nutrition and Natural Health Science Association for my contributions towards health care and social welfare. Beyond this, I was recognized with the Health and Lifestyle Professional award by YFLO (a young woman wing of the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, FICCI).
Does your work ever feel tedious to you? If so, how do you stay driven and motivated toward it?
My work is driven by passion, so motivation comes from within myself. I don’t deny that it’s tedious and takes rigorous efforts, but at the same time, it is fulfilling and enjoyable. The biggest driving force is the countless blessings people shower on me when they see improvement in their health and achieve their goals. Not only India but clients from various countries like Singapore, Germany, Australia, USA, Canada, New Zealand, UAE etc reach out to me in search of solutions for their chronic health problems.
What are your hobbies and specific interests other than your profession?
I love to travel and explore various cultures, meet people, and make new connections. Every country that I visit, I try to explore its lifestyle and rituals. I value experiences over possessions. I love to be in the lap of nature, and that is the reason you will often find me wandering in some place or the other.
You have achieved so much in life, any specific advice you’d like to share with our readers to grow in life?
The one thumb rule that I have adopted is that ‘there are no shortcuts in life’. Everything comes with effort and patience. One needs to have strong faith, and everything will follow. Secondly, all your material possessions will be wasted if you don’t live in a healthy body. So take out time for yourself, and keep health as your top priority.
