- Tell us a bit about yourself and your business.
I graduated from GSVM Medical College, Kanpur in 1995 and upon passing, I took the oath to serve the nation and cater to the needs of my patients. I practiced in the neurological department concerning brain & spine disorders. I then attained MS Degree in 2000 & M.Ch in 2005 with the aim of diving deep into the field of neurosurgery to give the best care in the field of neurological diseases.
Soon after, I came up with the concept of “The Panacea Multi Super Specialty Hospital and center of neuroscience” in Kanpur.
Over the course of its journey, this hospital has established a firm foothold in the city Kanpur and surrounding district. The belief and realization that patient satisfaction is the need of the hour have helped this establishment garner a vast base of patients, which continues to grow with each passing day. This set-up employs individuals who are dedicated to their respective roles and put in a lot of effort to achieve the common vision and larger goals of the Organization.
- What inspired you to pursue this career in the first place?
Doctors save lives but their importance goes far beyond just that. We make a difference in people’s lives by helping minimize their pain, recover from a disease faster or learn to live with a disabling injury. A patient’s ability to enjoy life, even if they can’t be cured, makes a huge difference to them and their families. The many ways in which a doctor can help bring a difference in the lives of people made me fall for this profession.

- What services or products do you provide and how are they beneficial to your customers and clients?

I’m motivated by the fact that I’m a part of such a Nobel profession where I can make a difference in the lives of so many, every day. When I leave work at the end of the day, I feel satisfied that I’ve helped bring smiles to the faces of so many and changed the lives of my patients and their families. This is what makes me look forward to each new day. This is what makes me feel proud of being a Neuro-Surgeon.
- What advice would you give to the newbies in the industry? What is that one piece of advice you believe has helped you achieve success in life?
Believe in yourself and don’t listen to naysayers. Most people don’t want you to succeed; perhaps even people close to you may say negative things. Avoid these people; stay focused and positive. One needs to be tough during the initial days of their career. Also, be tough on any competing businesses that may challenge your business’s reason to exist. Don’t be a wimp. Stand up to people who try to take you down.
