Interviewed by The Success Today – A Digital Webzine

Could you tell us about yourself and your work?
Born in Mumbai, brought up in Indore and post-marriage residing in Barshi, Maharashtra. I have always chosen the roads less taken, carve my own path and stay driven. I always had the urge and vision of establishing my identity in the entrepreneurial world and with my spouse’s support I was able to initiate a small step towards my dream a couple of years back
I would like to call myself a strong-willed, determined, approachable, happy-go-lucky kind of person in my personal life but when it comes to work; discipline and consistency are the keywords I hold onto.
Initially, I worked under a brand for about a year to gain some business acumen in the world where I was about to set my foot and then after a year, I got an opportunity to participate in an exhibition. I invested all my savings in that exhibition and the response was beyond my expectations. So from there on I began my entrepreneurial journey with a lot of interesting stories and learnings.

How you and your service is helping society?
“Women are the largest untapped reservoir of talent in the world” –
Hillary Clinton

An entrepreneurial mind always comes bearing solutions to the needs of the market or the rise of a new product. My idea was to introduce people to exclusive home décor stuff! This concept was absolutely new in Barshi and I knew that I will have to face a lot of interrogative eyes as women establishing their business in small towns is still not a cheerful subject for many. But I was ready to face those eyes and faces as transformation takes its own course of time.
Gradually when people began to appreciate the concept and quality of the products that I was dealing with; my husband and I thought of introducing another segment and we introduced te section for kids merchandise as well
And with that, the idea of building my own store paved its way
Today I have my own store which provides gifting solutions for almost everyone (males, females, kids, home, etc)
when you hear comments like “Hey Ankita you are an inspiration for me “ and “You encourage every woman u meet to create her own identity”
“your product quality is niche and so is your style of work” etc
When I commenced this journey, confidence, self-motivation, and dedication were my mantras to move ahead. I always encourage women to create a name for themselves in professional life and convert their passion into a productive source of income. , realize this fact that a woman is capable of balancing their career and family simultaneously. We, as a company, always focus on an ethical code of conduct and sell quality products at affordable prices. Another feather to my societal contribution is that i am an active member of an international women’s organization “the inner wheel club”. Currently, I am the editor of the inner wheel club of Barsi (2022-2023)

I started this brand because of my affinity towards kid’s merchandise and home décor merchandise so I never find my work tedious but yes sometimes I do have to juggle with multiple tasks at the same time which occasionally makes it difficult to prioritize and stay focused on my work

Reviews of my clients and my manifestation board are what keep me driven in monotonous times. The mission and vision fuels my perseverance
